How to use
Prepare a bowl (preferably silicone), a spatula, a measuring cup and cool mineral water. Mix 3 scoops of powder and 4 scoops of water. Mix the preparation with quick movements until a homogeneous, smooth mass is obtained. If the mask is too thin, add a little mask again, and if it is too thick, add a little water and mix vigorously. Spread the mask evenly over the face and neck, then let it set. Try to apply it vigorously as it can dry quickly (setting time 2-5 minutes).
The algae mask may run off the skin a little at first, be careful not to let it get into the eyes and mouth. After 15-20 minutes, remove the mask and clean any residue with a damp towel. To intensify the cooling effect, you can add 2-3 doses of Organic Series Soothing Mask. If you have difficulty applying yourself, ask a second person for help.
Active ingredients
- Alginate – has a significant cosmetic significance because it gives the so-called occlusion effect. This means that it creates a “film“ on the skin, which reduces TEWL (Transepidermal Water Loss). It contributes to the better penetration of active substances. It has a rejuvenating, immunostimulating, moisturising and regenerating effect. Stimulates metabolism, removes fat deposits and improves circulation.
- Active Carbon from Bamboo – is a strong absorbent that stops impurities without damaging the hydrolipidic layer. It is good at attracting and absorbing toxins, skin contamination, excess sebum or keratinised epidermis. Additionally, it has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, brightening and soothing effects. Used in an appropriate manner, it fights blackheads, soothes inflammatory changes on the skin, cleanses and refreshes it. At the same time, it is gentle on the skin, does not cause irritation and does not violate the skin’s protective barrier.
