Benefits
- The Pyruvic Acid Peel removes the outer, often damaged skin layers and has the benefit of making pores look smaller.
- Regular usage of the Pyruvic Acid Peel evens out unbalanced skin tone and blemishes improving the overall texture of the skin.
- It cleanses the skin thoroughly revealing a fresh layer of the skin without acne, spots, and blemishes.
- The peel deposits skin-healing ingredients to the deep layers of the skin making it feel like silk and look radiant and glowing.
- It heals sun spots and other hyperpigmentation problems that otherwise cause fine lines and blotchiness.
How to use
Take a few drops of the pyruvic acid peel in your fingertips or a cotton pad. Apply it to your face and neck gently. Leave it for 5 minutes. Then, wash off with a mild neutralizer.
If you feel a burning or itchy sensation, wash it off within 1 minute. Make sure to wear sunscreen when you step outside after the peeling treatment.
Expert tips
Use the pyruvic acid peel during subsequent treatments in the series, after preparing the skin with preparations of a lower concentration. Mandelic acid, which has a similar anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effect, is a good choice. Acids have an extremely cleansing effect.
Offer the client a treatment with acids in a series of 4-6 treatments performed at intervals of 12-14 days for acne skin.
After the treatment with acids, recommend the client to use an Organic Series nourishing cream or forte cream for acne-prone skin and a moisturising cream with a natural SPF filter. Use AHA Organic Series Acid Tonic as a pre-exfoliator.
Remember not to use an algae mask after the treatment with pyruvic acid. Mask occlusion can aggravate the effects of the acid and lead to a severe skin irritation reaction.

buddy –
I was nervous about using this due to its strength. You have to build up gradually and I’m nowhere near the stage of leaving it overnight. I can only use it a couple of times a week for 2 minutes each time. I did leave it on slightly longer once and it stung like crazy for a few hours. Just be careful with it, it does work and leaves my skin looking great. The condition of my skin has really improved. Use plenty of moisturiser afterwards and your skin will be fine.
